It is about 22 Kms from Nainital and 11 Kms from Bhowali, and it is bounded by a dense forest of oaks, pine and shrubs. There are many places to visit in bhimtal like Bhimtal Lake, Aquarium Island cafe, Hanuman Garhi, Victoria Dam etc.

Hotels in this area are very good and clean, can choose any, I personally stayed in "NEELESH INN - LUXURY ON THE LAKE (Bhimtal)" Hotel, the property is very nice, staff is very cooperative, their is a play area for kids (can be seen in the video) and the beautiful view from the window.
