The Facebook Content Monetisation beta is currently invitation-only while it is in testing. If you have not received an invitation, you can express interest in participating in this form.
The Facebook Content Monetisation beta gives creators the opportunity to earn money based on the performance of their eligible Facebook videos, reels, photos and text posts. It is currently an invitation-only programme while in beta testing.
The Content Monetisation beta combines three existing Facebook monetisation programmes:
In-stream ads, which monetises videos
Ads on Reels, which monetises reels
Performance bonus programme, which monetises video, photo and text posts
Note: You will not be able to join, rejoin or continue participation in in-stream ads, ads on reels or the Performance bonus programme after you onboard on the Content Monetisation beta.
Eligibility for Facebook Content Monetisation
Earn money on multiple content formats
Rather than paying creators based on the performance of ads placed in their content, Facebook Content Monetisation rewards creators for making quality public videos, reels, photos and text posts that perform well.
If your Instagram or Facebook account is in the Accounts Centre with a subscription to use Meta Products without ads, your ability to monetise and run ads is limited. Learn more about how subscribing to Meta Products without ads limits your ability to advertise or monetise with ads.
Payouts
To qualify for payouts, you must be onboarded to the Creator Monetisation programme and your Page or profile in professional mode must be following the Partner Monetisation Policies and Content Monetisation Policies.
The amount you may earn via Content Monetisation is based on the engagement that your eligible public content receives on Facebook, as solely determined by Meta. Multiple factors may determine what is monetisation-eligible and how much you can earn.
The amount that you earn may change over time. Monetisation-eligible content includes public videos, reels, photos and text posts that comply with Meta's policies.
Note: Videos must be a minimum of 15 seconds to be eligible to earn.
Additional categories of content that may be ineligible for performance-based payouts include, but are not limited to, the following:
Content for which ownership claims are settled in favour of a third-party copyright holder. Learn more about Facebook copyright policy.
Branded content.
Content in a language that isn't supported for Facebook Content Monetisation.
Content by another person or Page that you've crossposted.
Boosted content.
Content that has been permanently deleted. If you delete a post, you may not get credit for the engagement it received before deletion.
Content where ads are disabled by the creator.
Content that collects or incentivises inauthentic engagement.
