Swapping a 2zz-ge engine into a Toyota MR2 Spyder requires modification of the ECU wiring. This can be done with a specially made patch harness, available for purchase from Monkeywrench Racing, and shown in a previous video, or, as an alternative, by re-pinning the ECU connectors. This video outlines the required changes for re-pinning the harness terminals to achieve the same result as the MWR swap harness. A future video will show exactly how to perform these changes.
