The 2024 Ruck to Remember began at a ceremony for Vietnam Veterans. The Vietnam Moving Wall visited Minden, Nevada, and TMCC Student Veterans and supporters participated in the ceremony and began the Ruck at its completion.
Over the next four days they carried dog tags of those killed in the Global War on Terror and those Nevadans who died in Vietnam. Their journey ended in Fernley during a Memorial Day ceremony at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
