There's no ride hailing apps like Ola in the mountain town of Munnar in Kerala. Bargaining skills are a must if you don't want to get ripped off on auto rickshaw rides multiple times per day.

I find it's best to avoid the rickshaws who stand around and wait for a sucker. I'd rather flag down one that's moving in the direction that I'm going. Then they will accept a fair price.
