Amazing Christmas tradition in Prague
During Advent you may see an uniformed man who lights up the historical gas lamps. He starts his way from the Old Town Bridge Tower and continues to the Lesser Town direction and returns back.
Since 2010 gas lamps were returned to the Charles Bridge, which is the only gas lit bridge in the world
from 1 December till 23 December
At approx. 16:00 the lamp-lighter will begin to light the historical gaslighting near the Old Town Bridge Tower
on the Charles Bridge, Prague 1.
