A new report released by the Justice Department inspector general, Michael E. Horowitz, Thursday, Dec. 12, found no federal agents were directly involved in the Jan. 6, 2021 attack on the U.S. Capitol. After nearly four years of investigation, the report found no evidence undercover FBI employees were among the thousands of Trump supporters who stormed the building.
