Apple's Mac Pro is no doubt the most beautiful and premium workstation computer ever made, but it comes at a price. The base 2019 Mac Pro starts at $6,000 and goes all the way up and beyond $52,000.

The base model is expensive because you're paying for the premium case, a very high-end motherboard, an incredibly good cooling system and a 1400W power supply.

Is it actually a rip-off or is it a pretty decent deal?

We compare it to the Dell Precision 7920 Tower workstation, HP's Z8 G4 workstation, Titan computer's W522, Lenovo's ThinkStation P920 and Puget System's Peak HPC workstation.
