Rare 1954 John Deere 40 S All-Fuel Two-Cylinder Tractor
1 of 653 40S All-Fuels built, out of 11,814 total 40S tractors built by John Deere from 1953-1955
I am the 3rd owner and have John Deere parts documents showing the previous two owner's information.
It is an older restoration from Georgia near Roswell and still a 6-volt system.
It has only been used with ethanol-free fuel and kept garaged.
The paint has not been "touched up" before this listing. The paint from the restoration completed by the second owner is included.
Includes:
An unrestored set of 4100 row-crop cultivators and a like-new yellow canvas umbrella with a stand.
Operating manuals, service manuals, brochures, and other original publications.
Original take-off and spare parts (several boxes total). An extra red fuel cap ordered by the 1st owner is still in its original packaging from the dealer.
The original 3-point hitch lift arms, top arm, All-Fuel Zenith carburetor, and several PTO covers have also been preserved.
