Leading power car was 43103 'Helston Fury Dance'. This was 43103's last working, as she failed later in the evening and was dragged back to Plymouth the next day, never to work as a Valenta-engined power car again.
The rear power car was 43098 'Railway Children', now fitted with an MTU engine and operating with First Great Western.
