April 18, 2023 - The Seattle Office of Arts & Culture (ARTS) invests in individual artists to support a more robust art sector economy. Our CityArtist Grant provides critical funding for Seattle-based artists and or curators to research, develop, and present ideas or projects.
To provide equitable opportunities for a diverse artistic community, artistic disciplines rotate every program cycle. The 2024 CityArtist grant cycle will fund artists operating in the following disciplines: Literary, Media/Digital/Film (including Screenwriting), and Visual Arts.
Co-presented by staff Irene Gómez and Marshonne Walker this session covers the CityArtist grant, application, process, and timeline, plus steps on creating an account on FLUXX to apply for the grant.
