This video shows the operation of our Fibre Optics System.
The Fibre Optics System from Lascells is a self-contained system for demonstrating and using a fibre optic communication link.
You can choose the modulation of the transmitter – a variable frequency audio tone and a 250kHz square wave for speed of light investigations are available. The receiver contains a user variable gain amplifier and integral speaker as well as direct monitoring sockets for an oscilloscope.
A 5m and 20m fibre optic cable are supplied so that comparisons can be made, and the speed of light found. Full experimental details included.
