We camped in a beautiful spot in the national park of Valia Calda approx 4 kl away from the shelter and between 1400 m and 1500 m altitude.
The area is known as "arkoudorema" meaning the bear stream, and it has dense forest along the stream. The terrain is of medium difficulty with lots of altitude changes.
The Search scenario was that 4 ppl were missing, and the last information we got was that they were following the E6 euro path from the shelter to the waterfall.
One SaR team (Handler+Dog) was appointed for the mission.
