Lyrics:
Those roads are closing in on me my
my train is come and go
now but I know
I got these loveing arms for you
Everytime I see your face
I wanna cry cry cry
For your woman, baby
Cause you ' re my babygirl
And I don't wanna leave you
Alone, No no no
It's time I took the rains... now
Told you that i comming home
Tell you I now just what to do
Been walking down those empty roads
I know I am gonna to climb climb climb
My litle loving, woman Im comming home, again
So glad to see your pretty face
It's been such a long long time
There's nowhere else..
I try to be
All those times I thought of you
When you said goodbye
Don't wan't to see those days again
It's been such a lonely road
But I am coming home to you
► Steak House is the eagerly awaited début album from Scottish blues rockers GT’s Boos Band, one of the hottest emerging blues bands around in the UK right now. Described as 'blues with feeling’, the GT’s Boos Band sound is a no-holds barred combination of blistering guitar solo’s and a rock influenced vocal which remains true to the blues. Early 2013 saw the band’s creative juices come to the fore and, drawing heavily on the somewhat colourful experiences of the youthful GT, they wrote their début album ‘Steak House’. One of the songs from Steak House, ‘What I’m Wishing’, appears on volume III of the critically acclaimed series of Scottish blues compilation albums, ‘Jocks Juke Joint’. The band has already had extensive airplay, including an appearance on Paul Jones’ show on BBC Radio 2, with Netherlands DJ John van Lent also commenting, ‘it’s a privilege to be able to broadcast such songs for you.’ Describing the guitar solos of Johnny Boos, he said "I think he’s BRILLIANT!"
►GT’s Boos Band are a smokin’ 4-piece electric blues band from Central Scotland who are fast becoming renowned for their energetic and popular show, which features an extensive catalogue of classic covers in their own blues/rock style, as well as showcasing their own material.
Since forming in 2010 the band has went from strength to strength, playing at venues all over Scotland. The band is led by front man Greig Taylor, his powerful vocals reminiscent of artists from a bygone era, while the band’s sound is largely driven by the by the sheer force of nature that is lead guitarist John Boos, regarded as one of the best blues/rock players in Scotland.
As the band name would suggest, John Boos co-founded the band alongside Greig Taylor after they both quickly became live favourites on the circuit with their acoustic duo ‘The Boos Bros’.
They then had the genius idea of turning the intimate acoustic show into a no-holds barred electric blues assault on the senses. After line-up changes, the duo found Elliot Smith, a young talented multi-instrumentalist who likes to hit things hard!
Completing the line-up and providing the driving groove is experienced bassist Davy ‘Aky’ Atkinson, a regular fixture on the Scottish music scene for many years.
