The Georgia Coastal and Marine Planner was created by the Georgia Tech Center for GIS for the Georgia Department of Natural Resources Coastal Management Program with funding provided by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The presentation will give an overview of GCAMP's architecture, its practical value to the state of Georgia for ocean, weather, and climate adaptation and disaster response, and various planning approaches that deploy it in what might be a model for every other state in the country.
