A very good vegetarian dish which goes well with chapatis, rice or plain bread.
Once masala is prepared it is very easy to make this delicious chapati side dish. Masala mix has to be perfect to get the oomph taste of the spices. Do follow my recipe for the masala and definitely you will get the outcome of this tasty Paneer Peas Masala. Appreciate your feedback.

Ingredients :-

Masala to grind :-
Ghee - 1 tsp
Cardamom - 3
Cloves - 2
Bayleaf
Almond - 2
Cinnamon - 2 small sticks
Cuscus - 1/4 tsp
Fennel seeds - 1 tsp
Coriander seeds - 1/4 tsp
Dried chili - 3
Green chili - 1
Ginger - 1/2 inch pice
Garlic - 3 cloves
Big onion - 1
Tomato - 1/4
Mint leaves
Heat ghee, add in the spices (cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaf ). Then add in the soaked dried chili , stir a while, and add in the coriander seeds, fennel seeds, cuscus and almonds.
Then add in ginger, garlic, green chili, and onion. Once onion turns translucent add in the tomato and then the mint . stir a while and remove to cool. Once cooled grind to a paste and set it aside.
Other Ingredients :-
Oil - 4 tbsp
Bayleaf
Garlic- 6 cloves minced
B. onion - 2 minced
Tomato - 2 minced
Curry leaves
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Yogurt - 1 tsp
Paneer cubes - 100 gms
Peas - 100 grams
Ghee - 2 tsp
Kasuri meti - 1/4 tsp
Heat oil in a pan, and add in the bay leaf. Then add in the minced garlic and then the minced onion. Once onion turns translucent add in the turmeric and then the minced tomatoes.
Then add in the masala and stir a while. Then yogurt is added in and stir well to combine. Add in the rinsed water from the blender and some extra water to be added to boil and simmer.
Once simmered well add in the paneer and peas and stir to mix well. Add salt to taste. Simmer a while, before adding in the kasuri methi. Remove and ready to serve with chapatis or rice or bread of your choice. Enjoy !!!!
