This particular fix was on a 2018 Toyota 4Runner and the codes were P0022 and P0024. I checked oil level and tested oil pressure valve operation. I figured it may be an oil viscosity or dirty oil issue, so I’d clear the codes and change the oil. I was replacing the oil filter ( a cartridge filter) and found the oil filter crushed. Someone previously replaced the oil filter housing with a metal housing and did not install the center tube in the housing that the filter sits on. This caused the oil filter to crush and restrict oil flow.

Saved me a lot of time, and the customer a bit of money! Not a guarantee, but worth a check before digging in too far.
