Dunfermline to Lochore on Scotland's new walking trail. Leaving Dunfermline we pass through an area of Fife that was once full of coal-pits and mines, all of which have gone. We pause now and then to examine the coal mining history in the area, in particular at the now-vanished villages of Fairfield and Lassodie by Loch Fitty. We pass through Kingseat and Kelty, look into some details of the Mary Colliery, and end at Lochore Miners Welfare Society & Social Club.
