ISRO has announced the date for the September launch of its Sun mission, which is aimed at deepening our knowledge of solar activities and their influence on space weather in real time. The Aditya-L1 spacecraft, also referred to as India's first space-based solar probe will be launched on September 2nd at 11.50 am from Sriharikota and it will take four months for it to reach its location on the orbit.
