Norfolk Showground Arena, is the largest indoor space in Norfolk with 3000m2 that can be sub-divided to match the requirements of individual events. Production of events is helped by the excellent vehicular access for build up and breakdown, with three-phase electrics and a brand new heating system also contributing to what is an excellent standard of permanent event infrastructure.
Located four miles from Norwich city centre, just off the A47, the venue has the ability to cater for virtually any size of event, with ample on site parking for thousands of vehicles.
As well as being the home of the Royal Norfolk Show, which attracts 90,000 attendees over two days, the venue is also hosts a rich selection of other public and business events. These include antiques and collectors fairs, exhibitions and conferences, gala dinners, sporting events and music festivals.
A recent £1.4 million refurbishment programme included an extension to the arena through the addition of a modern state of the art glass fronted reception complete with excellent toilet facilities. A new internal wall and ceiling cladding was also installed, improving the acoustics of the venue. Plans are already in place to further develop the arena, with investment planned to improve the internal facilities to meet the growing needs of modern event organisers.
