Amigos! Welcome to Zocalo, the main square in downtown Mexico City. The day of the dead is one of the most popular seasons among foreign tourists. It is because doesn't matter which state you will visit you will find creative catrinas, altars, and parades on the squares and streets. The smaller the city is the better events usually offer.
So, this exposition in Zocalo consists of 32 Catrinas, each Catrina represents a different state of Mexico. And in the back of Catrinas, we found altars for famous people from those states.
After checking out Catrinas and altars we decided to walk to Templo mayor where local shamans have an assigned area and work helping people in love, work, and health. Usually, they use herbs or eggs to achieve that and hope one day will try it.
What I love about Mexico City is that you find surprises like this simply walking on the street...
This avenue is the heart of Mexico City, Reforma. Actually, this place is like a long photography studio. As you can see many people are taking pictures in the middle of the street and the main spot to include is the Independency angel, which is in the next roundabout.
Amigos, if you are new, don´t forget to subscribe, and please comment on what do you think about this exposition. I am always happy to read your opinions. Love you all, stay safe, and hasta pronto.
