Try this easy technique: we call it the “Pop Pop”

Essentially, it is leash guidance, but it is NOT leash pulling. Think of it as a tap on the shoulder; you are not forcing your dog to the direction you want, but instead you are simply letting them know with a light “pop” on the leash.

And remember, this is a very gentle movement. You want to show your dog where you want them to go but still let them make the decision.

With just a few repetitions of this, your dog will be following your lead on the leash in no time whatsoever!
