In this episode of The She Said It First Podcast, Jerrilyn Lake aka @IndesKribeaBULL and @LyneeMonae dive into the recent allegations that have been made against Jay Z. Jay Z has been alleged to have sexually assaulted a minor along with Diddy at a VMAs party in September 2000. Jay Z immediately denied all the allegations levied against him.
Lynee’ and Jerrilyn went on to talk about comedian Andrew Shultz crossing the line when he responded to Kendrick Lamar. Shultz went as far as telling Kendrick Lamar that he would have sex with him unwillingly and many people on social media were split about this topic. Jerrilyn and Lynee’ spoke about if it is okay to cross the line in the name of comedy. These conversations started because Shultz made jokes about black women. In speaking of black women, Candace Owens said that black women are over sexualized to sell art in the name of free speech and it should not be the case. And for once, Jerrilyn and Lynee’ agree with Candace Owens.
