Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has arrived here for his two-day working visit that is mainly focused on strengthening bilateral and business relations between Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta.
Tomorrow, Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will hold an official welcoming ceremony for Anwar at Istana Bogor, just outside of Jakarta.
The welcoming ceremony will be followed by the singing of Negaraku and the Indonesian national anthem Indonesia Raya, a 21-gun salute, an inspection of troops and afterwards, the introduction of the two leaders' respective delegates.
Anwar and Jokowi will then head to the palace's Teratai Room for a photo session and guest book signing, followed by a tête-à-tête meeting on the veranda of the palace.
They are then scheduled for a bilateral meeting, where Anwar and Jokowi are expected to discuss areas of mutual interest and benefits including investment potentials, manpower, border and security issues affecting both sides of the border.
