On January 4, 1903, Thomas Edison’s company filmed the execution of Topsy the Elephant, the largest purported casualty in the “War of the Currents”!
This documentary-style video was created primarily for my students when we cover technological developments in the late 1800s and early 1900s in our American, Western, and World History courses.
