Taiwan’s lawmakers scuffled in chaotic disputes over a series controversial legislation on Friday. The major opposition party the Kuomintang (KMT) and its allies pushed for bills aimed at amending laws including stricter rules on outing elected officials to government budgeting as well as changes to its constitutional court.
