Becky Massey, MD, head and neck surgical oncologist, describes voice box removal surgery, laryngectomy, for patients with cancer of the larynx. The removal includes reconstructive surgery to allow speaking and swallowing after surgery. Dr. Massey is part of the Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Head and Neck Cancer Program in Milwaukee, Wis.
