In honor of Jim Morrison's 75th birthday, we recorded a seven song Doors cover album and asked seven different videographers to make the music videos. They were given only 2 weeks, a color and the track. No other direction. I'll be watching it for my first time with you!

lauren asked me to do this 'break on through' video while i was traveling in europe (there was no question that i was going to do it) and i put off shooting it until i was driving to the madrid airport from portugal for my return flight back to the U.S. i was passing through a little village and spotted a sign for a 'piscina natural' so i followed a dirt road down to a beautiful river with absolutely nobody around and knew that was why i had been waiting to film. with a few vague concepts already in mind along with the assigned color for the song, yellow, i started shooting as soon as i found the yellow flowers riverside. i stopped shooting as soon as my gopro died (taking the planned underwater portion of this video down with it) and as soon as the late november river water became too cold to bear.
