One ass seems to be nipping the derriere (aka ass) of the other ass, as it runs along behind it, even getting kicked in the face by the other ass!
Indian Wild Ass Sanctuary also known as the Wild Ass Wildlife Sanctuary is located in the Little Rann of Kutch in the Gujarat state of India. Spread over 4950+ square kilometers, it is the largest wildlife sanctuary in India.
The wildlife sanctuary was established in 1972 and came under the Wildlife Protection Act of 1973. The sanctuary is one of the last refuges on earth of the endangered wild ass sub-species Indian Wild Ass (Khur) (Equus hemionus khur).
The Rann of Kutch is a saline desert. During monsoon, the Rann (Gujarati for desert) gets flooded for a around two months and is dotted with over 70 elevated plateaux or islands, locally known as 'bets'. These bets are covered with grass and host the approximately 2500 animals of Wild Ass.
Blackbuck National Park at Velavadar is situated in the Bhavnagar District of Gujarat state, India. Established in 1976 in the Bhal region of Saurashtra, the park is located around 72 km from the district headquarter city of Bhavnagar. Hugging the coasts of the Gulf of Khambhat on the south, it is spread over an area of 34.08 km², which was primarily a "vidi" (grassland) of the Maharaja of the princely state of Bhavnagar. On the northern side, it is surrounded by wastelands and agriculture fields. The National park has been classified as 4B Gujarat-Rajwada biotic province of semi-arid bio-geographical zone.
