This is a guide on how to disable the audible alarm on a APC UPS. The model is a Smart-UPS 750, but the steps are similar on other models that have the front control panel.

When the battery fails it beeps every two seconds and displays 'Warning State: Connect Battery' and a red LED shows over the battery symbol. The battery should be replaced when this happens, but the beeping can be disabled using these steps:

-From the front menu panel, select 'Configuration'
-Select 'Audible Alarm'
-Set it off.

That's it! The beeping should be disabled now.
