After crossing the Sea of Cortez with the ferry, we arrived in Mazatlán! We came right after a hurricane past this area, but the city is trying very hard to pretend nothing happened. We drove along the Nayarit coast and visited both quiet, deserted towns and busy touristy places. The absolute highlight of our visit along the Nayarit coast was releasing turtles into the ocean!
