The Grand Song of Dong Ethnic Minority – or Grand Chorus, is the generally accepted title used by outsiders to describe folk-song traditions of China's Dong ethnic minority. It was inscribed by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage in 2009. Originated in the Spring and Autumn period, it has a history of more than 2,500 years. Performed without aid from musical instruments and a conductor, it is a form of folk chorus with polyphonic parts. Watch to enjoy the beautiful voices sung by these beautiful Dong woman.
