Extreme events have a great impact on water and food systems, as well as human health. In this session, speakers will discuss the major challenges facing society and address opportunities to provide more water and food security in a changing world. Panelists will describe adaptation and preparedness strategies and explore the relationship between soil health, extreme events and impacts on water and food security.
