Ingredients
Tuvar dal/Split pigeon pea 1/4 cup
Turmeric powder a pinch
Tamarind a small lemon size
Salt to taste
Hing/asafoetida a pinch
tomato 1 ripe
Curry leaves a few

Coriander leaves a few chopped
Ghee 1 tsp
mustard seeds 1/4 tsp
Cumin seeds 1/4 tsp
Dry red chillies 2
For Rasam powder
Coriander seeds 1/4 cup
Dry red chilli 1/4 cup
Tuvar dal 1/4 cup
Black pepper 1/8 cup
Cumin seeds 1/8 cup
Turmeric powder1 Tsp
