In this video, we are going over how to turn dumb electronics into smart home devices. Better yet, how you can control them using different home assistant platform such as: IFTTT, Google Assistant, Amazon Alexa, Siri, and even use Siri Shortcuts for creating simple commands. The items we are going to be using come from Broadlink. They are the Broadlink RM4 Mini, RM4 Pro, a remote sensor, and one of Broadlinks newest light switches. We are using the broadlink home assistant app to link everything together. This is going to be a fun video and the possibilities are literally endless. In fact, you can use the RM4 devices to control a mirrorless or DSLR camera such as an A7Riv, Sony FX3, Sony A7Siii, or A7iii. It can even control a computer!
