We arrived in Tana Toraja, where the tribes have a unique culture: When someone dies, the body stays with the family for months or even years. Dead people, skulls and effigies of deceased people are publicly displayed and hundreds of buffalos are sacrifices for burials. People of Toraja spend their life savings to bury their deceased. In this Indonesia vlog we are experiencing a special part of Sulawesi, so follow us on this journey!

ABOUT US: We are Gwynne and Patrick, traveling Indonesia with our scooter. After living in Bali during the Pandemic, it was time to see more of this wonderful country, so we got a bike and ventured out from Bali to cross Java. We totally fell in love with this country and we want to see as much as we can: In our Indonesia vlog here we are trying Indonesian food, documenting Indonesian culture and so much more! By the way: Patrick is from Germany and is doing his best to learn Bahasa Indonesia. Please let him know what you think about his speaking skills.
