Learn about data management plans, which are documentation that outlines how data/scholarly products of research are to be handled both during and after a research project, and the major concepts to complete them. New in this session is Portage's Exemplary DMPs for guidance for types of research methodology.
By the end of the session participants will be able to:
- Define the purpose and major RDM components of DMPs
- Examine the University of Manitoba's DMP template
- Discuss the various supports UM provides for data management,
preservation, metadata description including Libraries
