Chicken Asado Siopao Softer and Whiter Dough
For the Siopao fillings:👇🏽
1 and 1/2 kilo skinless boneless chicken thighs
1/3 cup Soy Sauce
1/4 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tbsp. Oyster Sauce
1 tbsp. Hoisin sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tbsp. Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Garlic
Black pepper
Marinate overnight
Oil
Onion
Garlic
Marinated chicken
2 cups water
Bay leaves
For the Siopao Dough:👇🏻
1 & 1/4 cup lukewarm Milk
1/3 cup Sugar
1 tbsp & 1/2 tsp yeast
2 Egg whites
4 cups all purpose Flour
1 tbsp. Baking Powder
1/3 cup Shortening
1 tsp. Salt
Steam the Siopao on medium heat for 13 to 15 minutes
