Bosnian Serbs fired missiles at the Bosnian presidential palace in Sarajevo today (Friday).
There were no casualties, but one missile hit the office of parliament president Miro Zalovic, who is a Serb.
The missiles landed just before the top UN official for former Yugoslavia, Yasushi Akashi, arrived for talks with Bosnian officials.
Akashi arrived in Bosnia on a mission to free hundreds of peacekeepers and end restrictions on UN relief convoys.
He arrived in Sarajevo this morning for meetings with officials of the Muslim-led Bosnian government.
He left the presidency building briefly before the meetings began and the two missiles hit just before he returned.
A third wire-guided anti-armour missile hit a building nearby.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
Akashi announced he would travel to Pale later for talks with Bosnian Serb leaders, who refused to meet his boss, UN Secretary General Boutros Boutros-Ghali, on Wednesday.
SOUNDBITE:
\"We addressed ourselves to the urgent need for a ceasefire in Bihac, a ceasefire throughout Bosnia-Hercegovina. We also discussed several other questions relating to the stabilisation and the normalisation of the situation. I'm going now to Pale, to have discussions with the Bosnian Serbs sides. I will come back here to continue talks. And until we achieve something tangible, something concrete, our shuttle diplomacy may have to continue.\"

Meanwhile, seventy Dutch peacekeepers who were taken hostage Saturday were released today.
The soldiers were in good condition and had not been physically abused.
It was not immediately clear if the release was tied to Akashi's mission.
