After many months of hard labour, Patrick Moore and the many volunteers that are a part of the Hastings Street project, are enjoying the fruits of their labour. The anthropology professor from UBC had an idea to build a community garden that would provide food for an impoverished community. The farm is providing food to the Downtown Eastside Neighbourhood House lunch program and staff are also coordinating boxes of food to homes in the community.
