New Payments Architecture (NPA) is the ISO 20022 replacement for ‘low value’ payment systems. NPA will be a brand-new platform, administering smaller payments, which will function using the new ISO 20022 formats.
Whilst this won’t come into effect immediately, it needs to be part of your ISO 20022 migration plan, because at some point you’ll need to retire certain processes in favour of NPA.
