Gambia's new President Adama Barrow has pledged to overhaul the country's security forces. Barrow who only recently returned to his country says he plans to rename the National Intelligence Agency, which was tasked with interrogating and sometimes torturing detainees. He has also pledged to reform the democratic processes in the country as well as work towards greater media freedom. Barrow takes over from Yahya Jammehm who left the country for Equatorial Guinea, after ruling Gambia for 22 years. Barrows arrival is seen as a rebirth for the country
