Punishment for war crimes in Ukraine. Members of the European Parliament have adopted a resolution on establishing a special tribunal for Russia and Belarus, in which they demand that the military and political leadership of the aggressor country be held accountable. Parliament said the atrocities committed by the Russian military in Bucha, Irpin, Izium, and other Ukrainian cities testified to the brutality of the war and highlighted the importance of coordinated international action to bring those responsible to justice in accordance with international law.
