Do you know? Health care quacks / fake speech therapists are giving incomplete information and trying to confuse innocent people having stammering, puberphonia etc on social media these days. Therefore, whenever you see any video of Puberphonia or other voice disorders patient on you tube these days must try to find truth by:
1. Pre Post Change at conversation stage instead of just |aa..| or single word like 1,2 or amma, appa or a,b,c.
2. Speech Therapist (if he/she claiming he/she is a speech therapist) details information:
College? University? degree in speech Pathology/ relevant area? Year of Passing the qualifying Examination? RCI Registration Number (For Indian Speech Therapist)? before starting speech/voice treatment.
3. Watching both pre and post treatment live video also of patient along with therapist/Doctor.
Must Try to find in "About" section of YouTube channel/social media/website the college, University, degree in Speech Pathology/Speech Hearing Sciences of your voice therapist/speech therapist/SLP/Audiologist before consulting him/her.
