Anyone who visits the polder villages north of Antwerp in February, March and April will see strange things. Entire groups of people walking around in country keels with a farmer's handkerchief and a blue cap, women with a black dress and a brown scarf around their shoulders, others with a red-white checkered cardigan and black pants. Farm horses and gallows. Yes, it's geese again! A tradition in which a goose is hung on a gallows and where the intention is to be the first to pull the head off. They also ride on farm horses.
