✳️ *Accused is absent BC of PS Mangol Puri and previously involved in 17 cases*

A team of AATS, South West District has done commendable work by arresting one desperate thief cum robber namely Sohan Lal @ Sonu S/o Jeet Singh R/o FW-29/211, Jhuggi Mangol Puri, New Delhi Aged 35 Yrs. With his arrest, total 08 stolen mobile phones recovered.
*INCIDENT, TEAM & ARREST:*
Keeping in view the directions of senior officers, a dedicated team of AATS/SW is tasked to work upon street crime/theft cases of South West District . The team roped in various secret informers in this regard. On 28.10.2023, a secret information regarding the presence of desperate thief/pick pocketer namely Sohal Lal @ Sonu was received to HC Naresh and a team of AATS consisting of ASI Vinod, HC Naresh, HC Dharmender and HC Rakesh under the leadership of Insp. Gautam Malik, IC/AATS, South West District and overall supervision of Sh. Devendra Kumar Singh, ACP/Ops. laid a trap at Palam area and succeeded in apprehending the accused Sohan Lal @ Sonu age-35 years, when he came to dispose off the stolen mobiles. Eight stolen mobile phone were recovered from his possession. Accordingly the accused person was arrested & concerned authorities were informed.

Accused Sohan Lal @ Sonu S/o Jeet Singh R/o FW-29/211, Jhuggi Mangol Puri, New Delhi Aged 35 Yrs is absent BC of PS Mangol Puri and previously involved in 17 cases.

1. Eight stolen Mobile Phones.

5. e-FIR no. 00587/23 U/s 379 IPC PS- Delhi Cantt
3 mobile phones are being connected.
