That's certainly what Christopher Hitchens believed and wrote about in his 2007 book 'God Is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything.' In fact, he argued that religion will always boil over into violence. So how does this fit into todays passage in John 3? And does the Bible agree with Hitchens?
