Destiny 2's end game experience has a lot of people frustrated due to the removal of certain "grinds" that have since been removed from the game through design choices. In today's "Thoughts?" we'll discuss Destiny 2's grind, what it actually consists of, why people might be mad about it, and why Bungie's design philosophy means bad news for hardcore players looking for a more consistent grind experience. This is more of a discussion about WHY Destiny will probably never have an extensive end game experience as opposed to what could be done to remedy Destiny 2's current issues. Also, this is one of those videos that I'm really nervous about from every end of the spectrum.
On the whole "shouldn't have played it that quickly," comment chain that's going to boot up: Yes, I am well aware of the fact that I raced through the game and ate up the content. Part of that is because I do this for a job and need to be ahead of the curve. However, just because I hit this point faster than some of you might've does not mean that the end-game isn't considered a problem by certain players in the community. If you hit 305 power 3 weeks from now, you're still going to run into the same issues as players claim to have right now, just not as quickly. If you don't play often enough that you can make the grind to max power an expansion long grind (as in it'll take you 3-4 months to hit max power), then I don't think this video is really for you in the first place.
