See why you have a green dot next the battery icon on the Samsung / Android Phones. Why is it there and what it means? Is it important to let you know of something?
The green dot right next to the battery symbol is to indicate that currently there is an app using your microphone or camara. Whether the app is running in the foreground or background this light will always activate when an app has access to the camera and micphone. If you did not grant the app permission to use it, you can go into settings and deny the app from using the microphone or camera.
