Its official JLO and AROD have announced the end of their engagement!

Back in early march sources started reporting that the couple had broken up...but less than 24 hour later they reassured us they were still together…

Back when the rumors first started they announced they were working through some things but NOW they’ve officially announced the end of their engagement…
In a joint statement to TODAY, the couple announced, "We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support."

DISCUSS: Such a sad spilt their families and businesses are so intertwined…

Sources are telling TMZ that JLO still has the 1.8 million dollar engagement ring…
According to sources there's been no discussion between J Lo and A-Rod over the fate of the ring.
However, our sources are quick to add ... the former couple exchanged "massive amounts of jewelry." A-Rod bedazzled J Lo with all sorts of bling, and she fortified his massive watch collection. So, they could just call it a wash, but they haven't decided yet.

JLO opened up to Allure magazine earlier this year about having to postpone their wedding twice due to the pandemic
She also shared that they went to couples therapy saying:
"I think it was really helpful for us in our relationship,"
